The “Old Downeast” Becomes Three Separate Local Leagues in 2010

Due to the state wide redistricting of local leagues, the “Old Downeast” has become three separate local leagues. The three new local leagues are Coastal Plains, Neuse and Albemarle. Beginning with the spring league season for 2010, each of the three local leagues will function independently. There is a local league coordinator for each area along with separate local regulations, calendars, policies and schedules. Therefore, EACH local league will determine local champions for advancement to state tournaments. For additional information, please contact the local league coordinator in your area. See the map below to identify your area and coordinator. Then click the link for your area to get more detailed information.
